I want answers. I just had the same thing happen to me. My game is an older version, from like a month ago. Who can I call so they can restore the correct city?
I'm fuming. I'm in level 30 something and back to level 29. I had 14 keys and now I have 11 but I had used those 11 so I'm down over a dozen keys. I had over 300K. I had tons of parks. I had more storage. I want all my stuff back. What is the customer support number?

To reach support, open the app, click on settings, contact them through there. There is no number. You will send them an email, they send you an email wanting more information.
Yeah, but support all the time try to tell me about connect via social network ... they dont understand im doing that all the time , and my 44 lvl city restored to lvl 1 ... wtf is wrong with that ...
Well if you connect through Facebook, game center or google play, try uninstalling the app, restart your device, reinstall the app, play through the tutorial and see if your town comes up. Other then that, you will need to contact support. Players can only help so far until support needs to be contacted.
I was at level 34 and my city disappeared as well, but I was able to get it fixed. I had to contact customer support via email, and after explaining what happened they finally submitted my case to the higher ups. After 2 days they emailed me telling me they restored it by using their server. So yeah contact customer support.
Heh ... still nothing.
I wrote to support and they tell me, that experts know about my problem and will fix it as quick they can...
Tdy my friend told me, that my city in his friend list is gone ... just dissapired ... so they delete that city which i want to back ...
So nice with solving problems ...
