unable to log into store

two days ago I started being unable to log into the store to collect my daily free gift. I get a pop up saying I must enable functional cookies but I can't find that setting anywhere in my brave on my phone.

it says if I don't enable functional cookies then I have access to email login only. but then when I click connect it only offers me the options of Google account, Apple account or Facebook account login and all three are grayed out and inaccessible. there is no option for email login. I have no idea what to do now...

any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    😁 that's exactly why I prefer brave. no commercials on any of the video sharing sites either. 

    I did enable third party cookies and that didn't help so of course I turned it back off. turns out the solution is that mobile brave is not quite the same as the brave I use on my PC. so I just have to login via my PC in order to get my free Sim cash now.

    you couldn't pay me enough to use Chrome. I've been using brave for quite a few years now and I love it.

    unfortunately I'm on an android device and using brave browser so none of that was useful for me.

    From a quick read about Brave - it is exactly what EA are looking to prevent. They reward you with SimCash in return for ad cookies. I had rejected 3rd party cookies previously, and the issue for me came up recently, I guess EA tightened up on policy around the free SimCash.

    No cookies - no SimCash.

    Clear your browser history. Open the gift page again.

    And accept all cookies.

    That happened to me.  If you go to the page to claim your freebie, scroll all the way to the bottom.  In small print you will find “your privacy choices”. Hit it and turn on functional cookies.  You then should be able to collect the $15.

    At a guess I'd say that your browser will not show the ability to delete cookies if it doesn't allow them in the first place? It shows up for me on Chrome, both desktop and mobile.

    This is at the bottom of my claim screen.  I hit the Your privacy choices and turned on functional cookies but not the third party sharing.  No problem collecting the daily reward since.
