Re: Don't buy Vu's Random Generator building - major disappointment

@annakesselman In my game, Vu's Random Generator has a description saying: "Mimics an existing commercial building, changes every 24 hours."

It is quite expensive, but if you don't manage to return it, it can still be helpful for Contest of Mayors and earning Simoleons, as well as extra productions. The only buildings that generate Vu items are Maxis Manor and Maxis HQ (which was a limited-time building).

    Before purchasing it there was no description. It was blank. The description appeared only after the purchase, which is super unfair...

    Anyway, since owning it i didn't find it very useful for me ☹️ still a waist of money

    If you want something that gives you Vu items, the building you need is the Maxis Manor.

    The Vu Random Generator is actually a highly useful building, especially on days it mimics the grocery shop. You can mass produce even more meat to use in burger farming.

    @f2aj5m0efycy You don't need to make beef for burger farming. Just buy the burgers and wait for the offers. There's a tutorial on YouTube

    @annakesselman Maxis Manor is £2000 sim cash and does give you Vu items but not free. You have to buy them for around 1700 simoleons - so it's not useful, unless you're desperate and you don't have any team /friends that will sell them to you. . It just means you need less space for police, fire, hospital cover. Its one Small building rather than the 3 large police, fire, hospitals.

    Yeah i know that... though that the vu generator would be similar given its name.

    @annakesselman You should know by now anything new it the game needs to be researched before going for it. I like the Vu Generator and use it almost everyday. Yes, it is pricey, but pays for it's self in the long run.

    @JustCromford You make the Simoleons sound like real money. If you had ever been without Vu items and had to use SimCash to make a launch, the price of Simoleons is next to nothing compared to SimCash. I have 6 Maxis Manors and saving up for my 7th. I collect the Vu items everyday.

    Lucky you.  I don't have that many simoleons. I average around 1.5 million.  I spend a lot on wars, epics, CoM etc every week, and support my team members.

    @JustCromford You have more Simoleons than I do. I also help my teammates when I can too and do Epics. I'm not as active in COM since the rewards were cut. I now play free since the rewards were cut, no longer buying the Plus Pass as I did for many years.
