Agreed!!

While it is kind of fun to compare your own score with others, this "grading on a curve" competition is a lot of work and frustration. A game is supposed to be fun.

I still like the idea of the leagues though - starting from neighbourhood and working up to the "big reward" city/metropolis/mega leagues. You should have to put in a bit of effort to get into the big leagues with the big rewards, ....but not at the expense of your job or school, where gaming has become an addiction.  

Balance is the key.
