If this issue is still happening, try to clear the app's cache as it helps with this type of issues:

  1. Go to your device Settings -> Tap on Application manager/Apps or Applications -> Tap on "SimCity BuildIt"

  2. Tap "Force Stop"

  3. Tap Storage

  4. Tap "Clear Cache"

  5. Reinstall the game

    The problem occurred to me today. I've tried to restart app &device, clear cache, and even uninstalled app and re-installed, but not helping at all. The problem continued to occur.
