Re: Server issues.

For a game that relies on the auction house as much as SCBuildit, it is unacceptable to have it lagging this much. It is now unplayable. Do something NOW EA, this is game breaking and we all know it is on EA server side. This isn't a whenever you feel like fixing it bug.

Im in the UK.   We have 25 players in our team.  We are a global team.  Europe, SE Asia, USA., Africa, Australia, Canada, S America.   We are all having the same ussues.  I use an ipad, others have Android devices.  Some of us use phones, some use tablets.  We are all experiencing persistent issues with being unable to travel *air force one unavailable ", error messages, unable to access CoM / assignments screen.  Unable to access global markets, unable to access war store.  Other teams are complaining that war is impossible.   This has been an issue since last Saturday  (6 days now) 

People are leaving.  Its very frustrating and totally unplayable as it is.  My screenshots are attached.

@EA_Blueberry Don’t come with that question B.S.  it’s literally everyone. The answers don’t matter. It’s not us, it’s EA. If you had any GOOD IT you’d know that by now and have it fixed. Geezus.

I want to acknowledge that I am sure it's frustrating and I don't personally play this game myself in a long time, but I am here to help you all out by voicing your concerns to the staff of engineers. In order for us to get traction on an issue reported by the community they do appreciate getting some basic details to know what environments it's happening on to help speed up the process in finding the root cause. 

I have no doubt it is being experienced by you all and do not question it. If you're able to provide us the details we requested in my previous response we'll get this passed along so it's addressed as quickly as possible. 

We could use a few more examples if possible. Thank you all again for flagging it down to us.

Please see my responses below. For the avoidance of doubt this has nothing to do with a particular region, device, or internet connection. Something has gone massively wrong on the EA servers and needs to be fixed asap

• Cellular network The issue is present on ALL cellular networks and WiFi networks and has nothing  to do with what connection is being used.
• Region you're located in The issue is across all regions, and we have all tried using VPN as well to access from different locations around the world. It is nothing to do with what region any of us in.
• Brief description of issue(s) your experience with connectivity Complete lag of all online functions. Any aspect of the game which requires internet connection lags for at least 10 seconds or more. Club wars is unplayable.

@c0r7nt13ooktSame here. All updated to latest version. We are using a variety of devices. The majority of us have installed mass transit. We are all on either home broadband or 4G & 5G WiFi. We cover all time zones in our team. Everything in game is effected: global market, CoM challenge, war store, travelling between regions or other cities, trying to access any screen is very sliw inc chat function!

Im in the UK.  Its happening in every region in the game:

my capital city, green valley, cactus canyon, sunny isles and limestone cliffs.

Also when attempting to visit other players' cities.

Also when attempting to access any screen within the game.  

I am using an ipad  OS version 17.1.2 (21B101) 

Simcity latest version with trains!

There is a persistent slow down with the game ever since the Mass Transit (Trains) was added.  Around the Nov 2023 time-frame.  

I frequently get the Circle revolving ICON for waiting for a response.  Navigation to all areas of the game is affected

Suggest you Roll-back the Mass Transit - Trains addition to the game.  It appears to be affecting the entire world's playing the game adequately.

On a Samsung Galaxy Android phone, latest version, TMobile network in CT USA.

Issue started a week ago. The issue is lag. Whenever operating anything inside your own city (switching regions or accessing anything in your own city), the game is fine. But any other function feels like a spotty connection and the wheel just spins. Can sometimes work around it but it's far too slow to play.

Though clicking on your station also lags quite a bit. It is 100% without a doubt the trains update.

If you want to do away with trains to fix it, my (and many others) feelings won't be hurt.

It was fixed, but just started doing it again. Can't access AH and other cities AH.

Does restarting your device and then getting back into the game help?

Can anyone else confirm any difficulties accessing certain features?

All areas are unplayable. Slow servers, advising me that my Mayor Account is broken. The current Mayors Contest is unplayable. I’m slowly dropping down leagues because I cannot activate tasks or achieve them. Seems to slow right down after midday GMT time.

All error messages state server issues - which is a supplier issue not an end user issue. 
Restarting game makes no difference

No, restarting doesn't help. Now I can't access CoM either, keep getting an error.

Edit: Restarting worked this time. It's an intermittent latency problem on EA server side. It's affecting us worldwide. CoM, AH, war, voting, pretty much all features.
