Re: Suggestion: Parent Map

@MichealYun  I like this idea. I would also like to name my regions but...how would you do that? I mean, assignments in CoM are upgrade a GV bldg. Would they become, upgrade city of romance bldg? Upgrade GV-COR?

How about a city entrance monument announcing you are now entering GV's City of Romance? With no involvement in any kind of contest nomenclature? Just a private thing that can be seen but doesn't change CoM assignments. They'd still be GV ONLY.

What you are suggesting sounds pretty involved. The region names cover millions of players. They would have to customize each regional assignment to each individual regional name. Millions of them.

How do you envision EA go about this? Would definitely be a fun addition to the game.

@cricket4103 You’ve got the point. All possible new features must not be conflicted with the existing content and rules.

So the region name should not be associated with contest, if it is people would freak out when doing a task. Probably it can be a part on City Information Panel or any other private types as you said. My original idea is to have City Name Signs for each region, Mountain and Landmark both fine.

As EA had proposed five regional maps instead of expanding capital area due to mobile hardware limitations, NEW MAPS could be their usual solution.Compared to a new regional map, Parent Map can connect regions in some form as one map to give us more of a sense of substitution. It could also focus on different simlulation priories and bring some brand new content that difficult to develop under the original map, such as Railway/Overpass Planning and Terrain Editing.

As a setup and control center, or to expand the gameplay? Here's more options for EA. I know that easy said than done and hope EA could bring us surprises if they hears it.
