hey rocco, i agree with ya on what youre saying and actually just posted in the announcement area about storage and land items with the new update. not to mention a struggling issue all the time is having enough storage capacity with so many things to do. im not complaining, i love the game for all it offers but do we really need so many frustrations? 1. war storage depots2. more freebies and ways to obtain land and storage items3. less of counts required to expand. i mean 20 of each for expansions is a bit much4. war tokens, sim cash, and coins should all be interchangeable, converting abilities would be super

After playing the new region for a few hours, I think it's great to have more land and places to put buildings we have stored. I think it will be fun and a positive addition to the game.Some constructive feedback for improvement:1. I think we need an easier way to unlock more storage OR have storage be separate per region.5000 population and 5000 of the region currency (more on that below) is a bit steep for unlocking a new regional city storage - we almost need that right away upon opening up the region. And that's not enough.2. The regional currency is hard to earn. Upon creating regional residential zones, everyone moved out before I had enough regional currency to build the regional building - street food stall (limestone cliffs region). It required 300 of the lime simoleons, but I didn't earn that many lime simoleons from the new residents moving in. It would be nice if there was a way to get lime simeleons taxed in the new region. And, selling items from the regional factories in the global trade HQ would be ideal if they give currency for that region. It seems like the only way to earn regional currency right now is by upgrading buildings or from selling to the sims that pop up within that region.3. The price markup for services I think should be reset in the new region - particularly maxis manor. I am finding the new region is mostly costing me money without a way to earn it back.4. Daily bonus chest should not give me region items for a region I do not have unlocked. They aren't useful to me.5. It would be VERY helpful to have more than 1 new factory in the region. 1 Mulberry Grove is hard to micro manage. Can more unlock upon population increase?

It has made everything so much more complicated. You can't just ignore the regions, because the game forces you to use those items.You should not be required to find an item for a region you don't have.Region items should be separate from main storage.Region items should be separate in chatThere should be no regional currency without being able convert existing currency.Having to start all over collecting for Expansions items is not my idea of fun. There needs to be another way to earn Expansion Items.Been in a club and we are all very unhappy. It has made War much harder since members now need items from all three regions to complete shipments and war repairs.This is not our idea of Fun. Just even with the addition of Regional items make the game so item cluttered its actually frustrating to consider Normal Items, Paris Items, London Items, Tokyo, Omega, War, Vu, Expansions and now 3 new Regional.Been playing for awhile, never been to the forums, but my club sent me hear to voice our concern. We do not like this.

This is the WORST update I have ever seen. I have so many issues with it I don't even know where to begin. I'm a long time player, maxed out on storage (600), land, mountain, beach, etc. I have over 4 million population and money isn't a problem for me. This new update is making it extremely difficult for me so I can't imagine other people with much lower storage. The main issues I have are:1) Storage: There are 9 new items that can be produced (3 each per region), and 3 new materials (1 each per region). If I want to be competitive during a war or competition, I will need to store even MORE items that my storage can barely handle, even at 600. Let's say I want to try and store 5 of each item and material. That's 54 storage slots. Not to mention all the dozer I need to start saving again. Now if I could just ignore these areas and keep playing how I want to that would be fine but no, we are FORCED to develop these areas so we can produce the new items and materials. Storing war items was already difficult but they at least raised the storage to 600. If the storage is raised to 700+, it won't provide immediate relief and this change is irrelevant to those with less than 600 storage now. 2) Currencies: It wouldn't be as bad to develop a new area if I could use my millions of simoleons but no, I have to start completely over, broke as a joke. If I wanted to restart a new City, I would just re-install the game. I now have to manage 8 currencies (1. Simoleons, 2. Neo $, 3. Sim Cash, 4. Golden Keys, 5. Platinum Keys, 6. Leaf $, 7. Cactus $?, 8. Bowl with chop sticks $???). I've never seen a game with SO MANY CURRENCIES.3) Competition/War: I am now being required to collect new currencies for a competition assignment... again forcing me to develop a City I had no desire to build. I have very little currency so collecting 250 leaf $ took me hours, for a 1666 point assignment...unbelievably burdensome. War deliveries and repairs require the new items as well. I can't make 66% of them, and they're no where to be found. 4) NOT Self-Sufficient: They make you feel like the Cities are separate however both the new regions and the Capital City (Main City) require items from each other, forcing you to switch back and forth to the different stores/factories to fulfill shipments, repairs, development, assignments, etc. Needing to load each City every time is too time consuming and frustrating. CONCLUSION: EA had the right idea of allowing us to expand areas however they missed the point. We should be able to expand our MAIN CITY where we can use our existing resources. These new areas are making it overly burdensome for those wanting to be competitive in Wars/Competition due to increasing the demand to an already overloaded storage system.PROPOSED SOLUTION:I try not to complain without providing possible solutions:1) Do not require me to need materials/items from other regions: Make a new storage system exclusive to each region. Expanding storage capacity in each region can use original storage items but should start small like 5 each, just like the dozer for land expansion in these areas.2) Remove "region" items being required in War/Competition: It's just unnecessary3) Make "region" areas optional: Stop forcing me to do something I don't want to do. At least war was optional, for the most part.

I have zero desire to use the regions because of this storage issue.
Already I hate the fact that I placed one factory and can now produce silk, which would be fine and well if silk was limited to the region, but now I receive silk as a random prize in my Capital city for opening Neo canisters and I assume will be getting them from popping thought bubbles and I assume that I'll be seeing them now in already over Hamburgered Global market.

I regret unlocking the region.

EDIT: And now additionally I see I'm required to use these new items to upgrade building in my capital. Why would you integrate these new items into the established base city? Did some game engineer think it would be a good idea to "encourage" use of the new zones, with what? acceptable losses of people leaving the game for good?

How about a little notice next time, "WARNING: unlocking this region will force you to uses these items in your capital city, but ha ha, you have to make due with your current storage."

I am hating regions now. Just updated, and unlocked the first reagion because of curiosity.
But today starts the challenge...
How can I earn 450 simoleon leaf in the first day when I inlocked the region 1?
this mission appeared to me twice,
this way I'm extremely penalized, I whould have never unlocked the region...

You guys have a MAJOR bug. Since unlocking one region, the game now asks for materials I do NOT have in order to repair Vu damage. The Eco store requires items that are only manufactured in areas still locked. Vu damage in the Capital City should only require items manufactured IN THAT city in order to repair. MAJOR SCREWUP BY YOUR DEVELOPER'S QA TEAM.

This feels like a money grab on the part of EA. All it is going to do is cause players to quit. Nothing was thought through on this.
My residents are peeohed in my region because I can't build the organic market because I don't have enough leaf simoleans
I have to keep going back and forth to get items to upgrade the buildings
Buildings in my capital city ask for items from regions
It is asking for items I can't even make yet

Absolutely! This was an poorly thought through upgrade. You have majorly impacted players who are in the middle of a Mayor's Challenge or War. At least give us the opportunity to unselect an area and go back to just the Capital City.

Yay! We finally have new expansions! Love that we got different areas instead of just adding to the capital city. However, there are a few issues.
1. There isn't much incentive to work on new regions other than to have more room to expand. Why put in the work for something we can't even show off? Make the regions accessible at least amongst club members. There should be a way to check out someone's regions when you visit their capital city.
2. INCREASE MAX STORAGE!!! To like, 1,000 or something! Even with the regional storage, it isn't enough room at 600 between regular goods, war items, land/beach/storage/mountain expansion items, and now the special regional items.
3. There should be more ways to earn regional currency other than coin offer pop-ups and upgrading buildings. It takes so long to gain enough currency when only being offered 4 regional coins for 8 recycled fabric or 35 for upgrading a building. Perhaps have a way for the special goods produced in each region to be offered for sale for regional currency.
