Saving city without Facebook

@meja3352 The only way to save the game on Amazon devices is through Facebook. This is a real pain especially if like me you don’t have or want a Facebook account.
There is one workaround but that would involve deleting the game app that you downloaded from amazon and starting from scratch again.
Amazon devices are basically Android and therefore will run google play store. If you do a quick search you will find a lot of sites that give you detailed instructions on how to load play store to your amazon device.
Once you have done this you will need to download the game from play store rather than amazon and start a new city. Once you have played through the tutorial you will get the option to save the game. You Should have the usual Facebook button plus another one giving you the option to log in to google play.

Thank you for that info. I will try that. I do have Google play store from my phone so I am familiar with it. I'll be interested to see if I can get Google on the kindle.
I did hear from the EA Service team too, very promptly, and they said by supplying them some pieces of info, city name, estimated level, copy of any game purchases that they may be able to restore it for me. I really appreciated that. I actually decided to keep the new city I started (skipping some of the mistakes I made first time around), but it's good to know if it happens again I may get some help.
