How do we sell or get rid of items in the Omega storage if we don't need them? I made a bunch of items, but can only build a couple of residential buildings, and so far I haven't collected everything I need, but also can't use a lot of the items.
We need to sell it too!, is too expensive to increase capacity on storage!
As your Omaga Storage nears its capacity a bubble will appear over an omega building offering to buy items. Say no to any deal you don't like and wait a bit for a new bubble. They seem to know which items you just don't need and they will offer to buy them. STRATEGY: Don't say no if you think you will take the offer later. You may like the offer but want to wait until you are forced to accept it. You won't get the bubbles until you get close to capacity. Also, don't buy items at the neo mall unless you NEED them because you will pay thousands but sell for far far less. I always choose to work towards increasing Omega Storage OR increasing Neo Bank BUT I DONT TRY TO DO BOTH AT THE SAME TIME. DECIDE WHICH GOAL YOU ARE WORKING ON AND CONCENTRATE ON THOSE THREE ITEMS. Also, once you have decided which three items you are collecting be sure to use the button to get new plans if an Omega residential building asks for any of the items you are collecting. This Omega stuff requires a godly level of patience. I hope EA allows us to sell them in the Trade Depot. I think maybe they will someday.... but then 500 for 3 parts?? no; not interested.
1. You must concentrate on increasing your storage to at least 30 to play comfortably(somewhat).
2. You must wait for that one bloody item required to pop up in the mall.
3. While this is happening also manage your neosimolean count, it should not fall below the cost of your highest priced omega item. Chances are your desired item will appear when you are low on neosimoleans. The difference of price between 2 items may vary drastically as in my case (pic below).
4. Also very important, build your storage first and then build your omega homes. The more your income increases the more outrageously priced the Omega items will be. And the item's cost will always be more than your income. At higher incomes, you get screwed up more often with prices increasing at a high rate.
7000 bucks is a huge amount for a single canister. The items pile up really fast, once you invest a decent amount into it. My take on this is do not attempt unless you have a decent amount to splurge on it, the perseverance to wait for 6 hours, and limitless hope of getting the items you desire to accept while getting spices and bricks.
Sweet heavens, 80000?? Tell me I didn't see it right... and yes filling up the storage sometimes sorts it out, currently doing that myself.
But you know what would be a real game changer? If we could refresh the items required for bank and storage upgrade lol. Everyone could play Omega comfortably then..
Sadly, I've found that it's more efficient to keep a few lesser developed OMEGA residences that only require 1-3 OMEGA items to develop so I can refresh the building plans on these lower buildings to consume the few OMEGA items that I don't "need". Once these residences start requiring more complex combinations of OMEGA items, I then bulldoze those buildings and replant them to start the process all over again.
It's a less than optimal technique for using up OMEGA items, but it gets the job done. It allows me to be able to use up specific OMEGA items while retaining the items that I need for upgrading OMEGA Storage and NeoBank.
