SimCity...... Big changes ruining omega city

My cities large cities are built entirely on Omega. I built them that way partly because with Omega there's no need for the nonsense of police, fire etc

Now I see EA has just changed that golden rule and now for the first time ever, in years, I now have fire problems in the city. This means I'm going to have to destroy large parts of my cities to put in the Incredibly ridiculous fire and police that building omega was supposed to avoid

This  could be the end of my time with SimCity after years and years because there's no way I'm destroying large parts of my omega cities for this nonsense (or train stations).
