simcity build it
I don't know if this program is buggy or what, While playing I lost my control arrow. Also though I know I have my city connected to the interstate (I can see traffic entering from the city to the ...
@bloomlwold Welcome to the forum! If you are able to post a snapshot of your city perhaps we might be able to figure out what’s happening with the road situation...my best guess is you may have a building without a road connection. It really is a great city building game and you’ll find folks here that are willing to assist if they can. Take care.
Thanks to you and Duckups for your replies.
Learned a valuable lesson today. I left my game up yesterday but forgot to put it on pause. When I looked this AM I had over 900k in the treasury but the town was burning down. Will need to start over.
Do either of you have a good suggestion for the best game instruction?
@bloomlwold My best suggestion is slow and methodical...make sure you have sufficient power, water, waste, sewage, fire, police and medical coverage - acquire what you can afford and I suggest you build your city in blocks around the fire, police, and medical coverage and make sure you have parks covering your residential homes. Keep your manufacturing facilities turning and sell what you can at a fair price in the global market. Make sure every building has road access and that all roads are connected - too often they are left disconnected and may create issues in the future. I recommend you focus on storage upgrades above land, beach or mountain. The key element is patience, it’s a marathon not a sprint...economic self sufficiency is absolutely critical. sounds difficult but it’s not, a great part of the game is decision making and effectively dealing with the consequences of those decisions.
