SimCity BuildIt - How to Report Cheating

Hi Mayors,

We want acknowledge the great feedback we've received on the EA Forums say thank you for sharing with us! Your love for Simcity BuildIt and fair play is great to see. ❤️ We'll continue to work in the background to detect and tackle cheating activity and as always, your efforts to help us with that through reporting is very much appreciated. 

Reports are a great way to help flag potential cheaters and cheating activities to us. If you're seeing suspicious activity, cheating in-game or even hacks/exploits on shady websites, then we absolutely want to know about it. 

However, it's important the reports are sent through to the right channels. We are not equipped to receive these specific reports here on Answers HQ. Please keep this in mind when commenting on the EA forums and, please do not name and shame other players in your posts or links/screenshots/attachments (see EA Forum Rules). 

 

We have official channels in place dedicated to receiving your cheater/cheats reports and those details are great to include in any reports you send directly through to the team investigating them. 

How to send in reports: 

The best way to report a player is in-game because it automatically grabs the info we need to look into it

1. Tap the Settings button.
2. Select Help.
3. Choose Report a Player (this will open the report form article).
4. Scroll to the bottom of the article and select Submit a Request.
5. Fill out all required info.
6. Select Submit.
