Simcity Buildit barely playable after update, and annoying

Today i automatically got an update for simcity buildit, and now the graphics have changed here and there, but more importantly i cant zoom out anymore, or barely noticeble amount. also i cant tilt up and down as far as i could before. This means that i cannot get a propper overview of whats going on in my city, without constantly scrolling all over the place. Plus i turned of those notifications , and yet my Phone still keeps going off all the time with simcity messages. wich is also annoying.

    To improve performance on your device some graphics features such as the zoom out limit and street lights have been removed. This is to ensure that SimCity BuildIt can run as smoothly as possible on older devices.

    Not a very good idea EA. Having an old device doesn't mean it is not capable of running this game. I'm playing this on my note 2. Yeah it's quite old now but this game is running smoothly even before removing some of the game features. You should just put toggle on/off for this.

    The game crashed immediately or within thirty seconds of loading. There seems to have been no resolution to this problem after months of work have abandoned the game on iPads in our household.

    Same with me and whatever I have time to do is not recorded before the crash or perhaps the update crashes the game. When I load the game again, I am at where I was before. Most annoying.
