There was an update released, have you updated the app? The update should be in the app store. If you have not, I would try it to see if it makes a difference
I have updated app but am still having issues - particularly waste management. Getting to point of deleting game as can't do anything/earn money as tax not paying as sims "unhappy"
What is happening with your waste management?
Is it not flowing? Make sure it is connected to the roads and all roads are connected to that one.
Are the Sims homes within the brown area? If yes, move the waste building to where there are no homes in the brown area.
If the two above are not the issue please explain more and I will see if I can help. If I can not hopefully someone will.

Sorry to say but that is not caused by the update. The global market has had issues since the app started. Crashing, freezing, shutting the app down. Sorry you are just now experiencing this as many of us have been since the start.
