Simcity buildit wars: opponents not attacking back

I recently started a new club with some members I already knew a few weeks ago and we wanted to move up quickly in war rank so we could get back to our old status from a previous club. We start a war as soon as we’re capable and each time the experience is the same (no matter the rank or arena were in) the opponents barely fight back and at times it has been our score to zero. I find this very strange since I have experience with club wars and never seen so many clubs completely inactive during war. Is this some sort of glitch? It completely takes the fun and competitiveness out of the game and would like to know how I can fix this.

    Our club is guilty of this, because EA ties war to contest of mayors and there is usually at least 2 high point tasks that include deliveries or attacks.

    we did the same as you, started a new club from beginning, we’re now at Arena 3 and every game we’ve played has been the same. No one or just 1 person fighting back. It sucks. interestingly most of opposing players, like 99% are war rank 1, which doesn’t make sense. you can’t get to arena 3 without winning wars!!!! EA are doing something weird?

    I guess at lv 3 arena, it is like that.

    Currently, top 2000 teams are at lvl 5 arena already. So if you are looking for a good fight, have to come to arena 5 to experience it. It can be frustrating in a very different way lol

    My team is in A5 and are experiencing the exact same as the OP. 2 times in a row now. Super frustrating.

    @woodanna7 My team is in Arena5 and are experiencing the exact same issue. Current war score is 115000 for us and 100 for them. They are not even rebuilding at all. 17 of the 18 players are below 250k pop the one who is has 2.5mil. I can not figure out what is going on. The COM task answer is BS. no way would/ should a team make one attack from one player for an entire war and not even repair their damage.

    i am new to wars. i can truthfully state that when i asked for two mere war items they straight out refused to help. i dont have enough simcash to buy war packs nor war items. this is their way of telling me to leave. i was non war member to begin with. smh.
