I agree 100% !!!
The "gambling" in Simcity has gone too far. This game build is for everyone, including young players and the push to gamble is out of control. It's one thing to promote gambling but EA you could be on your way to future lawsuits over your game mechanics creating gambling addictions etc.
Neo item gamble, ad gamble, ghq gamble and now some junk snowflake gamble. Disappointed doesn't capture it EA.
The chat emoticons are nice but by simply creating a simple msg board with keyboard enabled emojies, copy/paste and maybe an @mai system like we have here to tag other players instead of trying to redesign the wheel. Our team had to figure out the script so we could type out emoticons because your jump back and fourth system is *. We can't even say Cooking or puzzle, epic chat board fail EA!
BTW, what is the script for {rubberduck} I think we tried everything reasonable, lol.
The "player" shouldn't be addapting to fit the game mechanic failures, the game should be built to fit the players needs and useage.
Is EA seeking new and better staff? Because after this last update you should be. I've also said it before; Who is testing this stuff? Your testing lab staff is terrible.
