Sounds suddently went dead, and hasn't come back

I've got an iphone SE (2017).  When I was playing this afternoon, I plugged the phone into my laptop to recharge, and -- coincidence or not -- the sound in the game went dead.  I immediately unplugge...

    I'm sorry to read you are having this problem, could you please try to restart your iPhone? That might help 🙂

Thanks for the response...and yes, that did the trick.  The sound is back.  Didn't even occur to me to shut the phone off to essentially reboot...it's the first time I've actually turned it completely off since I got the phone a couple months ago. 😉

    I always run out of battery, so two months without turning it off would be impossible for me! :D
