They probably have something in their T&Cs about being allowed to revoke anything they like. I’ve been surprised by how intrusive the monetisation has become. I paid for the game, then realised there were adverts, then the adverts started popping up whenever they liked (for example when I queued up some goods in a factory), then new regions were created that take you back to the beginning in terms of having to buy power stations every 5 minutes. I’ve stopped expanding my city because you run out of storage if you want to collect items to increase storage or land. This is the only time I’ve paid to expand my storage and then EA disappeared it. Everything is a chore, like Epic projects, which wipe out your treasury and fail if you aren’t online for the whole 24 hours. I think this might be time to quit and avoid EA in future.

That’s the exact email I received. No more EA games for me! I waste too much time on games anyway, so anything that offsets game developers’ tricks for keeping us playing is a blessing in disguise.

Hi Rocco, good to see you back...perhaps this is just another aspect of the lack of accountability, oops - I meant “privacy policy”. Take care my friend.
