I don't care for the new water color on lakes and ponds either. It actually detracts from the former color palette, particularly when pairing with special buildings that have water features that retain the original darker blue. It conflicts with the darker blue features and is not as pleasing. Use of water in lakes/ponds is an important customization and for continuity please consider returning to the original color scheme.
