I'm wondering the reasoning behind wanting a simoleon limit as well. The most expensive single item in the game is 90,000. But what if I want to wait to upgrade all of my factories to nanotech all at once? I would need to be able to get over 300,000 to do that. Not that they couldn't be done one at a time like I am doing now. Aside from that simoleon gain is already a limiting factor in the game. Sure you can do that demolish thing to speed that up but I believe the rapid leveling up as a result of it probably makes one worse off in the long run than if they simply played "normal". Once you have the simoleons you need to put down general infrastracture and what not (required buildings) you still have the growth pace you can't easily overcome with simoleons. But anyways I seem to be going on a tangeant here. I'll end with by my figuring not too long ago the best way to grow you need to be able to have X amount of simoleons by each key level spot for placing fire, police and medical buildings. So a level based limit would have to take that into concideration if there were to be one. But in my experience the time it takes to get the simoleons for each of those points to me is already a limiting factor. At my current level 22 and population 150,000 I can only gain about 50,000 a day. Unless I spend hours in the game to max out postings on the trade HQ and do every single possible worthwhile coin popup. Which might make that 20 or 25% more per day.
