Suggestion: upgrade Club Chat with mentions

I wish in the club chat we could @mention someone and it would notify that member. It would help if multiple conversations are happening.

I suppose it could be difficult to do with non-english letters, but maybe @ would open up the list of members to pick to mention...

  • @xlunascientia It'd be a handy function! Especially if your club is active for trading with full 25 members, game chat flows so fast!! You sometimes miss who you are posting items for etc. Also get @mention notification outside of the game would be really great for war attack coordinate.  You can use messenger app such as discord and whatsup for outside game communication too.

I wish if I could copy/paste the sentense by longtapping the speech bubble. Itd be a great help to communicate with international players, just copy/paste the sentense to g-translate instead of take a screenshot and use image translation.

@Duckups  I have a very small team of high rank war refugees.for some reason, my little club is a shining light in the darkness  😃  we don't chat much. It's more the familiarity of a team with prizes at the end. Chat would be better if we had some emoji's & a longer chat line.

The best solution (for now) is to use discord, you can remain anonymous if you want.

The chat of the game is kinda bad and I guess doesn't save much text to make the game fluent, but it doesn't serve the purpose of wars, in a few minutes the chat is lost, and there are generally important messages to be pinned there so everyone can read. Of course, any suggestion to improve it would be great, personally, a private chat, being able to add as friends and not only depend on the club, in fact, the game is quite asocial in this aspect.

  • @BlazinsZ  now that I know how fast your game play is, I agree with the original premise of the thread. A mention function would be useful. But, as far as non-war players go, it's not really needed. And you are correct: chat is definitely anti-social.

For that I would suggest instead of player mention, we have private chat, a short list of decent emoji, a short selection of inventive yet readable fonts, & the ability to turn off the foul language filter or at least make it layered (lo,med,hi)). Just some things to make it more sociable.

it also depends on how many people there are and their personalities, there were quiet moments in my club that the chat was not relevant,  and sometimes new tenants arrived who were actually parrots, with 15 members, the chat no longer covers the demand for text, you certainly gets online 6 hours later and you had no idea of everything that had been discussed regarding what is going to be done in the war or with the club. I can't imagine what it would be like with 25 players and all very talkative.
