Surrender option.

When you can see a war opponent is a hacker team.  They are easy to spot.    Level 10 Mags, all booster3s,.   Give presidents the option to end the war.  Why  waste time and our limited honest earned resources to fight a team with unlimited resources.  It's really not fair to the teams trying to play honestly.  It might deter the hackers if no one wants to play them.     So maybe we can just SURRENDER.  Move on find another team.

  • @Charfrit This is an excellent suggestion that has been offered a few of times over the last couple of years. Unfortunately this apparently does not fit into EA’s business model as it might appear less money would be spent...I believe the contrary - it might actually encourage additional spending if that club can resign and find a competitive battle (I know it’s a big if). Definitely beats the current options which is collect war items through repairs or call it a day and try again later...either way very few if any are spending actual money during this time frame. Just from a simple business perspective perhaps it is time for EA to shift the paradigm both economically and from a customer support perspective.

Well.   Hmmm.   This is a tough one.   I guess if they are much stronger it could be good.   And truly hackers it could be good.  Have to be allowed at the start after selection of teams.   Cause its 12 hours until war starts to find out for sure.

I guess if they make it s timer 1 hour till surrender or 2 hours,   could give time to get a few boxes  before it's over if the other team are truly cheats

It would bore the hackers if everyone left all the time.  Just wonder where the ones we get booted go.   Is it just from the one war, or are they gone for good?

We are high up,  the rest of the teams seem like hackers.  All of them.    Not many choices left to be matched with either.

I think people would be more willing to spend if this was an option.   Would give hope

  • I don't like it, what if you were in a fair war, no hackers. You were one attack from bringing up your first gold chest, and the opposition surrenders. 100 points short of a gold chest! Too bad?

It think it could only work if the other team accepts the surrender. So they could just say no, we want to keep attacking. This doesn't help if it's against a hacker club... they will probably say no, and keep mag'ing you for 36 more hours.

Maybe it's better that you can only surrender if you are knocked down. So then the winning team needs to be prepared that if they knock you down the war could end immediately. So don't knock down your opponent if you need more points for chests.

@Forgotten_Woods  Fair point, but anyone that would consider doing that is a club meeting the requirements in CoM (so remove war assignments from CoM) or they are...(leave that to your imagination and discretion). Perhaps the right approach may be a 25k deficit after 4 hours before the President can surrender. You really can’t leave it in the hands of the opponent as that defeats the whole purpose.

We’re probably not going to see this happen anytime soon if ever at all. It’s a great suggestion that just needs a little tweaking.

  • Another dangerous circle with no answer, you will only turn in arguments without being able to agree, the solution here is simple: eliminate hackers. So honest players can just accept their defeat as normal as before this ridiciously infection of cheaters which is superior to EA movements.

  • @BlazinsZ  Everyone is in full agreement and since you‘re shifting direction, perhaps simply shortening the length war games would benefit the original goal of @Charfrit  - it certainly appears that has the best opportunity to be implemented quickly and with much less debate. What you shared is what must be done...and has been for way too long.
