Switching off Dr Vu and/or the War functions

Question

Is there any way that I can use to switch off the war or And\Or functions?

I have no interest in the wars. No one seems to know how to even play them and I have not even seen a war while playing the game. Plus, during the mayors contests, at least thirty percent of the tasks to get plum bob points involve tasks requiring war or Dr VU. I have no interest in any part of that. I just want to build buildings and design new cities. I did dip my toe into the disaster thing, which I was able to complete but frankly was super boring and required me to use two hard to get items to complete.

PS-I am thinking about going to the head of the company on this issue. I don’t think these wars have anything to do with game play.

Hi, Wars are fought only between warring people, so you have to join in on that stuff.&nbsp; I am not into that either and basically like city building too.&nbsp; This is one of those things you have to decide whether it is worth all the junk EA dishes out to make you play.&nbsp; I ignore most of it and primarily city build.&nbsp; I thought the&nbsp; design contests would be fun but again they set it up with a byzantine voting system.&nbsp; It always seems that as more people vote for my design my score gets lower.&nbsp; Who knows?&nbsp; To get to a point where I could just build I slogged along through events to build up scores, tools storage etc.. I am maxed out on all that now so I can just do as I like.&nbsp; I have played this 2ince 2014, so think long term. I am approaching end of life so I don't really care about all the crap that goes on in here, LOL &nbsp;&nbsp; Mayor of Samarkand

@jamesdad2013 I belong to a No War club and we only get the Club Wars, Attack Monster &amp; War Deliveries assignments. It makes COM a little difficult but we still manage to do pretty well.

I too detest these wars but as I did belong to a club that was warring weekly then every other day I got out, I now am in a club that doesn’t war just build trade com and chat.
