Taxes are not relevant to the population at all and not getting any savings

How are these taxes fair in the game? One of them is my feeder city having a population of 1.3 million which is getting 21,000 as taxes and the other image is my main account which has a population...

When I tap my city hall, it shows my total population including regions, below which it shows my total tax income.

I'm not entirely convinced that regional population is not counted.

Apologies if I've missed something that says otherwise 😀

      @nebulus999 They really should count the regions for taxes. That is just Unreasonable..
      And 95K per day really seems fair for the work I've kept(16.4 million population). Sure everyone who worked on their regions feel the same. And those regions require double resources of one category.. frosty fjords homes literally take 3 power for a single house.. damn, EA is just ripping us off at this rate
