Can the Emerald building be upgraded in SimCity buildit?
If not, how can you manage to get the bigger skycrappers?

- Yes, the Emerald building can be upgraded. The next upgrade after the Emerald building is the skyscraper.
There's a limit to the number of non-skyscraper buildings you can have in your city (5 if I remember correctly). As long as you don't have this many buildings waiting to be upgraded, you should be offered the chance to upgrade the Emerald after approximately 15-45 minutes real world time. Considering that you posted this question two days ago, are you still waiting for the building to offer you an upgrade or has the problem resolved itself?
