I get that it's a free game, but at the end of the day, it is a game. To me, there is nothing interesting about sitting around and constantly reloading a HQ until I find an item. It's a free game, but it's frustrating elements make it a boring free game.
The game didn't get truly frustrating for me until the higher levels. I am at level 35, I have almost $300, 000 simoleons sitting there, but so what? The items I want are never there to purchase.
I agree people need to relax a little bit, and if they don't like the game, maybe it's time to move on. That is exactly what happens in my case. I play for about 10-15 minutes, collect my taxes, give the HQ a few "spins" get bored, and move on to something else.
What good is a game, free or otherwise, that doesn't engage the player? It seems a few seemingly simple modifications could make this game incredible. I for one would gladly pay $5.99 for a game that holds my interest longer than a few minutes, as opposed to milking me for in-app purchases at every turn.
I chose the game as a 20 year SimCity fan, based on name recognition alone. I didn't rate this game a 1 as others have, but it is not a great game to me, and I have every right to express that opinion.
