I have to say that I love this game. I am level 46 and I have no problem finding expansion items.I came here to see what others were experiencing and to maybe gain some useful tips.What I found however was a cauldron of cry babies who feel like EA OWES YOU SOMETHING.did you pay for this game?Answer: A BIG FAT NO!!!shut your pie holes and move on to something less challenging for you like .....your grandad's wooden checker set.I am ashamed of this generation.Who is John Galt?

To the OP: You get over yourself!Look what EA has done to Plants Vs Zombies and Peggle. They've turned really amazing games into pure rubbish for the lazy inside all of us. Simcity... Look what's happened to the Simcity crew... Fired. Let go. Jobless.I'm on level 43 and, since day one, I'd REALLY have loved to have simply purchased the game and gotten on with it but no as, instead, we're subjected to tactics that are purely dubious. Then again, saying that, I'm not forced to play the game.From a moral point of view you could spend a whole load of cash on this game and EA knows this... EA are, basically, evil. "They want your cash and that's not evil?" Depends on how you go about it. Either way they've produced a damn fine game that's being tainted by greed.

I tend to agree, I think this is a great game. With $0 invested, I've been able to get everything I need with a little patience. Of course, EA should continue to build and improve the game, which they have been doing. And people should be reporting legitimate bugs.You will get people saying, "I DO put money into this game!" And talk about their right to whine about it. Presumably because they've never heard the term "vote with your wallet".

It is the 1st phone game that I have genuinely liked as a valid time waster. It is a long term investment for me. I will use it as my waiting room go to time filler. I paid 0$. That is the value per $ that I can get on board with. I have real interest in its PC counter part now.

For those of you interested, SC4 can be had for $20 from Steam. Just don't even consider SC 2013 it's junk.

Mrvanhalo, I take your point and what a simply great game they have created here with buildit. It's addictive as hell. It's graphics are excellent and I like the fact I haven't spent a penny and my city is a level 32. What I must say is this, since the last update my experience has been terrible and frustrating, constant crashing in the hq adds to my already questionable opinion on that particular area of the game. It needs a rethink and it certainly needs to stop crashing. 🙂Also a general point, ea and others are entitled to try to make extra cash, it's just upselling, the point here is big businesses don't do things if they don't make money so this means that the people who end up paying for inapp (inappropriate) purchases create the demand which they read as profits, if less people fell for this type of marketing we would all have a buy once game that we would occasionally pay for add-ons for... Like xbox and ps games... That model has to be better for us but sadly there must be sufficient demand for how it is. So if we STOP buying things they will have to change. Viva la gamevulusion

John Galt is a plagiarized fictional character from one of the most over-rated authors of all time, a hero who used a socialistic tactic ( a labor strike) to protest socialism. Galt is clearly a rip off from Garet Garrett's The Driver, written decades before Ayn Rand wrote Atlas Shrugged. Its hero was Henry M. Galt, and yes, the same question was asked... Who is Henry M. Galt?

Neo cons love Ayn, but fail to recognize the obvious irony in having a supposedly conservative hero organize a labor strike...

Randians cherry-pick her positions, glossing over things like her atheism and anti-religionism, opposition to police actions and foreign wars like Vietnam, her support of abortion rights, and her opposition to the death penalty. But then, there are plenty of things for conservatives to like about her. Like her monumental hypocrisy carried off with a glib self-satisfied smirk. I'm just glad she and William F. Buckley never had a love child, even though I think that was foretold in Revelations.
Which reminds me again of that one Sim that keeps shouting at me to bulldoze the trees to make way for the machines. One more peep out of him, and I'm moving his building next to the garbage dump.
