The worst update ever

What in gods name did you people do to this game? The absolute worst update ever conceived. I had plenty of money, resources and great city designs that are ruined with this “upgrade”. I am not seeing good opinions on this at all and it is wide spread. I would strongly advise you to listen to what everyone is saying about this or soon become one of the quickest removed gaming apps in recent history. Absolutely terrible ideas.

  • Without a doubt, these new service 2.0 upgrades has created dead cities. I have no idea what EA thought they were going to accomplish by doing this? We mayors were forced to pay for upgrades on an established service, that is completely unfair. Those services should’ve been recognized as is. It would’ve been understandable if someone were to add the service as new. When this was updated, I had more than 8 million city Simoleans. I was forced to upgrade my services. I didn’t have enough money to update all my services within all my cities.I was basically bankrupted. Along with this the city taxes were more than 20,000 a day, now they’re dropped to about 8500 a day. I have zero money, and basically zero income coming in anymore, and my citizens have revolted. There is nothing that I can do about this. It is better off for me to walk away from this game than it is to follow it out. There was one time that I was actually enjoying playing this game. Services 2.0 upgrade has completely ruined that.

It's specially unfair in drone and controlNet bases, bought with neosimoleons. All those buildings were so extremely expensive, and more expensive the higher number of them you already had, thad I had to save neosimoleons for weeks just to buy one more. And they were bought assuming they had a certain promised capacity. Now they reset everything and my city is simply destroyed, because all those services have been set at the minimum available level, when we paid for them as a maximum. I'm level 99 and I've been 7 years playing this game. I don't have normal simoleons or neosimoleons to get back the city I had. Just one out of twenty or twenty five omega buildings produces neosimoleons and the residential taxes have dropped to a minimum amount. I can't even upgrade buildings for COM tasks. I just set them an upgrade them once. Then they don't give option to upgrade again because everything is lacking: light, water, fire....all services. I must destroy them and set another one. The game has simply died. And I used to buy a lot in the game, with real money, but I can't see other option different to uninstalling. It's not funny anymore.

  • You & everyone else.

I've given up on my actual cities now. They've made it so hard to earn simolions then turn around offering "discount" coin packages!

Just how much do they think we can afford to pay to play this game?! Au$14 mayors pass, $6 piggy banks & everything else starts at au$8 then the cost to boost season coins has been $13-$25!!  Don't they realise cost of living just doubled again? Certainly got me pulling back on buying extras.

I feel the same. I'm hoping they fix this by next season.. half our club has exited so we're losing wars it's certainly not worth spending much on if anything at all now.

I used to love playing this game, helped me relax after a long day at work. It took me over 3 days to upgrade my capital city alone, got to 100%, next day more upgrades needed. Extremely disappointed, frustrated at latest update, really thinking about deleting my game . Years of fun, not anymore.
