These Epic Projects Are A Bit Ridiculous

I just wanted to add an update since I just "finished" my second epic project.  And by finishing, I mean I got to 80 points and stopped.

• I hit 80 points with almost exactly 11 hours remaining on the timer.  This means that if the pattern holds (and I imagine it would), it would be impossible for me to complete the project at the gold tier, even if I stayed up all night working on it. It should be noted that I did this to the exclusion of almost everything else. I traveled from one city to the next, to the next, visiting hundreds of cities to maximize how many gifts I received. It took a LOT of effort to get done as quickly as I did.
• I noticed a pattern sometimes cropping up, where certain items would be requested twice simultaneously.  This happened more often at the end. For example, at one point toward the end of the run I had TWO requests for 4 coffees each, TWO requests for 3 lawn chairs each, and TWO requests for five shovels each.  So no matter how well prepared I could have tried to be, I would have been screwed by this.  Coffees and lawn chairs take a very long time to create. And 10 shovels is five hours where the building supplies store can't be used for anything else.  Also near the end I had TWO simultaneous requests for 3 cupboards each, and TWO simultaneous requests for 2 lemonades each.

And another tip to add to the tips I previously posted:  hoard your existing tokens early on.  You get four of each of them to start, don't use them right away.  It might be possible, with much effort, to get to the gold tier by using all of the tokens you have. But you'll want to use them all on the same run.  So maybe complete one or two epic projects at the bronze or silver level, wait a few days while you accrue a ton of cash and build up all of your stock, and then when you go for the gold tier, use all of those tokens on that run.  You MIGHT get it that way.

Now that I have two silver tier buildings, I'll get a silver token every three days or so.  I'm going to wait a good long time before I try again.  It's really a nightmare and I'm sick of looking at this game right now.
