About a year ago I first saw someone suggest it, and a while later repost the idea myself. In a game before shield buster it made sense. These days, with shield buster, about all ending a war sooner does is impede certain CoM tasks at a time when the (also new) rewards system there is popular.
Personally, I’ve opted for semi retirement recently and a change like this does nothing to have me reevaluate that choice. It’s not necessarily good or bad, but it was dev time not spent on the one and only thing I’d like to see:
Removing hacks and hackers.
Until that’s seriously addressed nothing else matters. I won’t return to regular play and I won’t be spending any money. I recognize as well that the majority of T6 has been cheats for a while now, long enough for hope to fade. In keeping with the idea of positive player suggested changes, I’ll put this one out there:
Since the hacking issues apparently can’t be fixed just give everyone unlimited war items. Functionally remove them. Deliveries can be used to generate war sims, small bonuses, triggering attack combos (else it’d be all mags all the time), or whatever, as long as it’s not an avenue to new exploits. Hackers lose their top reason to cheat, and everyone else gets to compete again. Variations welcome.
One thing I've noticed is they will now kick cheats mid game. We reported the obvious, and ea actually kicked them out mid war allowing us the win.
