Hey Jackie, we played them 2 weeks ago and reported them. Cheaters!
We are now in our 3rd war in a row where the opposition are just blasting us with magnet attacks. It's pathetic. As a club we are seriously thinking about giving up the wars. Its just not worth the time and the effort when all the opponents cheat with the magnetism attack. They obviously have some hack to get unlimited war items, particularly hydrants. (but it cannot be just hydrants because the magnet needs other items too). Thing that gets me every time is these cheating clubs make no effort to cover it up. They just bang away with magnets all day long. It's quite funny really. We are thinking about tactics to use against these clubs. We are a strong club and can score 200,000 points quite easily but it's not enough when faced with cheats. But, 200,000 does give us a chance, the problem is getting a lead on the cheats, a big enough lead and then stop repairing maybe? I dunno. At the end of the day, a war against a cheater club just turns into an exercise to improve your own card strength. Score as many points as possible, accept you're going to lose the war, and get the rewards for your personal score.
Reporting the teams to EA is a given, but it seems they are unable to act - your experience being a good example of a club that has been reported but nothing has been done. EA will tell you that it takes time and each report needs to be investigated etc etc but the reality is they should be able to see the war logs and it you don't have to be a brain surgeon to count all the magnet attacks... They know the algorithm for war items restricts the number of hydrants, so they know that endless magnet attacks is impossible with out some sort of hack.
Thank you for your kind words. I’m feeling a lot like a fool right now. Having spent more than 200 hard earned real dollars on war card packs to help my team, I now feel like I harmed them instead. My investment only raised up our team enough to match us up with cheating teams that we cannot hope to beat. In our last war the opposition eventually used more than 500 hydrants to beat us. Every player used almost exclusively magnetism attacks. Their inventory would have been impossible to obtain without cheating, EA has the name of this team as well as others using the same hack to win. WHY DOES EA CONTINUE TO SELL WAR PACKS WHEN THEY CLEARLY KNOW THEY HAVE NOT CREATED A FAIR PLAYING ARENA. I have played this game for more than three and a half years. I’ve worked my way to level 83 without cheating and while spending a fair amount of real cash. Once clubs, challenges, and wars were introduced I spent even more cash to help my fellow club members. I even posted a suggestion here in the forums that EA let us buy war packs as gifts for our team mates during the holidays. Now I’m just feeling like a complete fool. Does everyone here realize that EA makes billions of dollars every year on their games? They know exactly how the hacks are done. They have every resource needed to fix this. And yet here we are. EA... I beg you...please stop selling war packs until you have leveled the playing field. Knowing the hackers have taken control of your game and still asking for investors is unethical to say the least.
It is a disgrace that EA let this continue.
Right now, in our latest war, after about 12 hours of attack phase, the scores are currently 104285 (my club) to 119400 (the CHEATING club), so you can see, it's still very close, but, and here's the problem, they have hit us with.... wait for it... 240 magnet attacks. 240! And there is still 23 odd hours to go! So thats 480 hydrants so far, just for the magnet attacks. The few other attack cards they have used also, in most case, need hydrants. IT'S UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!
EA HOW CAN YOU LET THIS CONTINUE?
We will report this club, like we did the others, but I have zero faith anything will happen.

Please don’t shout in the forum, you woke me up from a midwinters dream 🙂. Please take a look at Mai’s post below, let’s give it a chance. Cheating is absolutely blantant and unacceptable and it’s been acknowledged, but due process takes time. If you choose not to participate in war games, it’s understandable - but I honestly believe that it will be addressed sooner than later...economics dictates it. Back to my nap - Take care.

I appreciate your point-of-view, but sooner is becoming later. EA is outgunned here and they are losing customers like us because of it.
For the record, we are on a top 50 team with no cheaters. So, just know not everyone in the top 100 cheats. But, at least half of them probably do and they are so easy to spot it laughable.
It takes a lot of time and planning to find legitimate opponents anymore, but there are resources out there to help make legitimate matches if you are so inclined to try. This time, it didn't work though, so we are going up against yet another cheating team tomorrow...we already know it. Favorite attack...Magnetism. Country of origin looks to be China. So we know it's a losing battle. What can you do other than report. But it doesn't help NOW which is a shame.
So, bottom line I guess is deal with it or stop playing. EA cares a little....just not enough.
