It is a disgrace that EA let this continue.
Right now, in our latest war, after about 12 hours of attack phase, the scores are currently 104285 (my club) to 119400 (the CHEATING club), so you can see, it's still very close, but, and here's the problem, they have hit us with.... wait for it... 240 magnet attacks. 240! And there is still 23 odd hours to go! So thats 480 hydrants so far, just for the magnet attacks. The few other attack cards they have used also, in most case, need hydrants. IT'S UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!
EA HOW CAN YOU LET THIS CONTINUE?
We will report this club, like we did the others, but I have zero faith anything will happen.

Please don’t shout in the forum, you woke me up from a midwinters dream 🙂. Please take a look at Mai’s post below, let’s give it a chance. Cheating is absolutely blantant and unacceptable and it’s been acknowledged, but due process takes time. If you choose not to participate in war games, it’s understandable - but I honestly believe that it will be addressed sooner than later...economics dictates it. Back to my nap - Take care.

I appreciate your point-of-view, but sooner is becoming later. EA is outgunned here and they are losing customers like us because of it.
For the record, we are on a top 50 team with no cheaters. So, just know not everyone in the top 100 cheats. But, at least half of them probably do and they are so easy to spot it laughable.
It takes a lot of time and planning to find legitimate opponents anymore, but there are resources out there to help make legitimate matches if you are so inclined to try. This time, it didn't work though, so we are going up against yet another cheating team tomorrow...we already know it. Favorite attack...Magnetism. Country of origin looks to be China. So we know it's a losing battle. What can you do other than report. But it doesn't help NOW which is a shame.
So, bottom line I guess is deal with it or stop playing. EA cares a little....just not enough.

You hit it on the head, there are only two options and that’s why economics will dictate the pace. I’m glad you’re a top 50 team that doesn’t cheat, that’s great to here. I look forward to the day when cheating is a thing of the past.

Firstly, sorry for waking you from your slumber. I wonder if I was able to do the same to EA? Somehow I doubt it unfortunately.
Secondly, I would like to address your "economics dictates it" comment.
The real disgrace here is that economics will not dictate a change in EA's attitude towards this problem whilst they continue to fraudulently (well, perhaps not fraudulently but certainly by mis-representation) continue to sell war upgrades per Jackie's example above. In-game purchases and advertising revenue continue to flow into EA's coffers from Simcity. There are still thousands and thousands of players who can potentially buy these upgrades. EA have not warned the playing community directly that the war game is fundamentally compromised. If they had any conscience they would pull the war game immediately until it's fixed. But they haven't. This is wrong. Very wrong. Mai is just the mod of this forum, he does his job well - he's quick to edit my "difficult to read characters" (haha) and edit my already obscured swearing on another thread (even more haha), but he's not, obviously, an EA employee who can make any changes to the game or personally deal with cheaters, so I'm afraid any mollifying from him, is just that. EA have to actually start showing that they are addressing the problem. The words of a forum mod, sorry Mai, are not evidence of any real action.
For you guys who so kindly respond to my posts....Thank You. Can I ask you a question? When I posted the name of the cheating team here in the forum, is that the same thing as “reporting” the cheaters? Or do I need to do that elsewhere? I’m just wanting to be sure EA has the information they need to fix this. The cheating team needs to be removed so that we do not see them online again. Only then will I feel the problem is being addressed, so that I can buy war packs again.

Actually posting the name in the forum is considered naming and shaming and can be an issue because on occasion innocent folks are accused when they’ve done nothing wrong (some folks just don’t know how to deal with a loss) and in the forum guidelines EA has stated no naming or shaming as a rule. The proper way to report a suspected cheater is through the in game help section - there is a selection for report a player and that will take you there.
Please don’t hesitate for a second to report the player or club - and to share with us in the forum your thoughts...we just can’t mention their name. Good luck, hope you never encounter another cheater.
- My team has posts above showing screen shots of a cheating team. They are able to turn their dome on and off at will, popping out to attack and quickly ducking back under a dome. If you look at the posted war logs, we have the president under a dome with only 8 damage but he's popped out multiple times to score thousands. I will not purchase more Sim cash or war cards until EA resolve this.
While it’s extremely frustrating to to encounter cheaters you are doing absolutely no good with your repetitive posts...for any action to take place you must report through the in game help section under report a player. We all share your concern, but the first post made your point...
