Bubbling up when you have the slightest of leads with 18+ hours to go would be considered cheating..mostly as it's not fun for anyone involved.
Bubbling up as a tactic in the closing hours of a well fought war is much less frowned upon.
Hey ttony,
None of us consider turtling as cheating, we all know it’s legal but it shows the character, class, courage, and confidence (or lack of) by the clubs that are not creative enough to participate in what they signed up for. We battled a team from Europe over the weekend that took extensive bubble breaks...extremely frustrating. We were the lower ranked team and outnumbered 11 to 17, and they elected to stay bubbled when behind and came out with 30 seconds left (I question the strategy, no time to collect war items) and were welcomed might I say warmly. They lost by 12k and got very little for the effort. My hope is that bubble teams will be matched together every war...maybe they’ll learn - at least you and I won’t have to deal with them. Take care ttony.
