Who has the highest population?

I have been working on my city for over 6 months now and just passed the 4 million mark for population. Who has the largest city you have seen?

I was wondering why you don't make any more real income with a higher population? I now design my city to be well balanced and beautiful instead...

As well as the game slowing even more and crashing. Bridges are disappearing during daytime along with other items like the casino from a recent season. Walls and food alleyways disappear too.
