Why can't I upgrade storage?

So, for the past few days, I haven't been able to upgrade my storage. There is no longer an "upgrade storage" button when I go to my inventory.  Many times I'm a few items short in order to upgrade,...

    @QuincyMom2  What’s your storage capacity? If you maxed out your storage, the upgrade button will vanish. Maximum capacity is 700 for the capital. 

     
    The button comes back again if EA decided to add the  storage, so you can upgrade again. (It happened several times in the past)

@gargoyleBAW  Does that include the temporary storage you’ve earned in CoM which resets soon?

    sorry with the temp it is at 825.  so that means my storage is 780. I did lose the ability to upgrade my storage any further about two or 3 months ago. So I figured I had finally reached the limit.

      @gargoyleBAW 

      With storage limits set as they are now, and without Bonus Storage, mayors can currently have 700 slots with Capital City and 20 additional storage slots for each of the currently available five Regions.

      In other words, for now, 800 slots (EXCLUDING Bonus Storage slots) is the current max.

      When you unlock your fifth region you will be able to add 20 more storage slots.

        We just need more storage... let’s say 900+ regional...😁 total 1k. It will surely help to hold more items for repairs during wars & would give us the ability to hold more supplies after doing deliveries.

        Hopefully EA will increase that limit soon...
