Maybe we should flood their help agents with this very question. Let them know how big of an issue it is by volume https://help.ea.com/contact-us.
Just get your money back and be done with it. I'm waiting in line for the EA chat to see what I have to do to get my money back.
They don't read these posts. They don't care. They got their money. If they cared they wouldn't have released the game like this. The only way you will affect them is to either get your money back or stop playing all together.
SimCity/2000/3000/4 are still fun and work perfectly fine.
After my 4th lost city, I've just started to build cities in sandbox mode so when they crash I dont' feel too attached. 4 cities at 10+ hours each was enough for me. Now I only put about 2 hours into a sandbox city before it crashes. It's not very fun though.
