Error 3000

The game crashed before it lauch it.  Error 3000  Pls help.

Hi @Dreampizza - Usually, an error 3000 means something to do with the language / locale pack for the game. Double-check what language Origin is in, and choose the same language pack for SimCity's install. (or change Origin pack to match SimCity) For example, use En_US for both.

If this is not the issue or you experience new errors, please reply back with more information about your computer and any error messages you're getting. Are you on PC or Mac? On which OS are you installing (Windows 10, MacOS Catalina, etc)? Which version of the game are you playing? Where did you purchase SimCity? 

If you have a PC, please include a DXDiag: How to DxDiag

To post your DxDiag:

1. Select the 'Choose file' button below the post box

2. Find the DxDiag file and select it - hit Open

3. Add text to your post and hit Submit

    So that's my DxDiag

    I'm in PC, and i have the same language as origin and the game.

      @Dreampizza - Thank you for the DxDiag. As there seems to be several issues with the Origin Web Helper Services, this may be related to a known Origin problem, rather than a SimCity issue. 

      Try disabling the Origin Client Service and Origin Web Helper Service like this:

      1. Press Windows key + R
      2. Scroll down the services list until you find the 2 Origin entries
      3. Double-click on each and change the startup type to Disabled
      4. Clear Origin cache
      5. Reboot Your PC

      Some general tips, if you still experience problems:

      Always run installation files "As Administrator"
      Firewall and Antivirus - Make sure SimCity.exe and Origin.exe are added to exception lists. If you have BitDefender installed, disable it.
      Graphics drivers and OS are patched and updated to newest versions
      SimCity.exe and Origin.exe - Set them to run "as administrator"
      Nahimic from MSI - this is an audio management program that comes with MSI motherboards. Disable or uninstall it. Nahimic 2 & 3 are known to cause this issue.
      Disable Origin in-game In Origin main menu, right-click SimCity icon, Game Properties, check the box that says "Disable Origin In-game"
      Run in Windows 7 or 8 compatibility mode - right-click SimCity shortcut; choose Properties > Compatibility tab > Check the box to run in Win 7 or 8 compatibility mode

      If none of these work, try a Clean Boot https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/ and attempt to launch SimCity. If it launches, you'll have some detective work to do. Enable one startup program at a time, reboot, try SimCity, until you find the program that is blocking it. Once you find the offending program, disable or uninstall it. You should be able to launch SimCity successfully without doing the clean boot after disabling the offending program.

      Definitely post back and let us know whether something worked.
