expanding city limits or zones???

Is there a way to expand the borders around the city? I mean ive run out of space to build and i CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE MY AREA LARGER....ANY HELP??

    You're able to play the game? and no, what you need to do is start a new city, share our recources to make your city bigger and grow your population in your first city

    No there isn't a way to expand the border, this is the size Maxis have set. Though, maybe, in the future they will have larger areas.

    Are there any near-term plans to expand the available city limit?  I'm maxed out but have a lot of expansion items left that are taking up room in my storage.  I don't want to sell them if the map will soon be expanded.

    What - I am so pissed to find this out now after buying several expansion - That in spite of 3 other version that gave us at least access to 40 + lots - We now have what 20 and we can't even expand the lots or change anything finally - what a rip off - Made the game worst  - I'm getting a full refund - Nowhere did you warn the buyers of this very restricted game play - and to boots - you are at how many expansions and this is not an options - You are going to end the Sims
