Gift money in SimCity not received

I gifted money to a city. The gifter had the funds removed from its treasury, however the recipient never received the funds and went into the pause mode, I cannot do anything to get out of pause and it seems that makes the funds "lost"

    Maxis is aware of the issue and currently working on some new info (compliments to xabadman)

    Try it out:

    excerpt from post.

    1st time = 250k
    2nd time = 200k <-- will get nothing

    1st time = 500k
    2nd time = 650k <- will get 150k

    I wonder what happens the 3rd time ?  🙂

    I am having this same problem.  I've losts hundreds of thousands of sim dollars trying to gift money to my cities.  This has been a problem since March.....really???  The feature is so broken I no longer bother with it.  😕mileysad:

    I've noticed that it sends money when in the beginning of building a city, but once the city gets bigger it doesn't work anymore. Maybe this will help the dev team to narrow down the search for the fix.

    Right in the start of city, as soon as you can send money gifts it works. Later.. not.

    Hi,

    This is due to the server's notification response time. If your region is well/fully developed and you log into a new city you get lots of notifications saying "<This> has been approved/available for region". You'll need to wait out all the notification and once completed you'll get notification saying "Simoleon gift Received".

    I have not had this problem. Your recieving city must wait to get it on their end as well. About 2 hours "in game" time, or just wait a bit, if you're stuck at 0. Unfortunately, you may get a message saying "gift was stopped at border" which is annoying, but means you have to wait more.

    decided to try simcity again after left this PURCHASED game for many years.. found out all this synchronizing issues still not solved!

    slow simeleon receive.. sell and purchase of resource also still buggy!!!

    Keep an eye on your local and regional traffic - especially with resources, which are purchased and sold by truck through the region. If you have major traffic jams, part of the game is solving those issues. Max out your delivery trucks, place trade depots near the entrance to the city with a straight shot out, settings correct, etc.

    There is a bug that will sometimes cause the trade depot trucks to stop for some reason. Watch to see if trucks are coming or going; if you have an issue, go into edit mode and delete and rebuild the garages. It's not necessary to demolish the whole building, just the truck garages.

    Also can sometimes be helpful to just exit the game and re-enter. This will reset the traffic and you can sometimes get things to move just by doing that. Happy building!

    25 Feb of 2023.
    I sent 2 and 1 millions on Europe West 1.
    And they was lost.
    When it will be fixed?
    The game is not playable because of this.
