How to install SimCity from the disc / disk (DVD) instead of downloading?

I know that you can install origin and then download simcity, but that takes forever. I have the disk I know it has the game on it (because of the size of the zipped file is 1.8gb), when I play auto...

Why the need for a hard copy of Simcity 5?  If yuor computer crashes, you'll have to keep paying for those digital dl.  And Windows 10 has crashes.

The game will be registered to your account. This means that as long as you're not charged for internet data, just login to the same account details and you will always be able to download the game. No matter how often your system crashes.
