Missing CD Key for Sim City 4

After I installed Windows 10 the game stopped working. I later found out I could play it through Origin. But needed the CD Key. Is there anything that can be done to get a new Key?

    Each Simcity game has a single registration to a matching player account.  A brand new account will be empty, which should be obvious; when you use the correct account, then CD Key questions are meaningless.

    It would help had I registered the game previously..

    It is / was the only insurance you could have had against what you have done.  AFAIK, since you have no proof of purchase otherwise, you have to buy a new copy.
