My Sim City game keeps telling me server unavailable after installation haven't played it yet. What do I do?

Is this when attempting to update? or when attempting to connect to/select a server?

If on update, try the following:

PC 1 -

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData\Patches\UpdatedApp
Copy all the files
Paste them in to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCity and overwrite all files.
Restart SimCity

PC 2 -

Mac -

Go to Applications;
Move to Trash;
Empty Trash;
Reinstall from Origin.
