Funniest part about this is how they tried to justify these features as the reason to require the game to be online only and they don't even work.
Definitely ironic as I feel pretty confident these functions would work just fine for my single player regions if they were being processed locally on my machine (3770K w/ 16GB) rather than on their servers.
over the past few hours ive gifted over $1mill as well as numerous resources. it takes time. maybe more time then you wish, but it takes time. i think the longest ive waited is roughly 10minutes.
@whyprime I've waited 4+ hours and got nothing. The feature is not working properly for everyone.
I've waited in game on each side of the transaction for 1+ hour and the trades and gifts aren't going through.
I've given ~440,000 over 5 different transactions. This was 2 and 3 days ago. Still no simoleans in my dying cities. I spent 48,000 on roads thinking I could just get money from a neighboring city.
