Screen cuts off (Resolution Issue)
I have an Nividia GTS 450 graphics card hooked up with HDMI to my LCD HD Samsung 22" TV for my monitor.
My native screen resolution is 1280 x 720 however it the top/bottom/sides get cut off and appear off the screen so I go to my Nividia control panel and resize the desktop to 1202 x 670 so it fits perfectly and I can see everything. I also set the scaling mode in the Nividia panel to Scale Full-Screen using the GPU (not the display) and checked the override game settings button.
I have tried this and started up SimCity but the game will either cut the edges off still or I can make it really small like 800 x 600 which is too tiny and doesn't take up the whole screen.
In the SimCity options there is only 1 resolution option, 1024 x 720 0Hz, which I don't know why this game doesn't have more options and some games I play even detect if my screen overscans and will automatically give me my 1202 x 670 screen resolution even if it is uncommon.
My HDTV monitor doesn't support 1:1 pixel, zoom, or overscan mode.
Sometimes I can even manually go into the graphic files in the game directory and change the resolution manually in the code however I tried that and it doesn't work either.
So, I'm lost here, any ideas? Can anyone from technical support help or possibly send in a request to get the display issues fixed and list more display options like a lot of other games allow?
Please let me know. 😕mileyhappy:

Ok, so appearntly there must have been an update that fixed this because I just set my resolution to native and loaded the game and the screen size works and doesn't get cut off anymore. However there are only 2 choices in the ingame resolution settings. Anyhow this works lets hope the rest of the game's bugs were fixed.
