Simcity 4 Cannot open on the EA app for Mac.

Question

The EA App says it is unavailable on Mac and to download Origin in order to play it.

Origin will not allow me to continue using it and is forcing me to get the EA app, it does not give me an option to play on it.

How can I play SimCity 4 on my EA app when it says that it is unavailable on the EA App?

Hey @bettyboopgur , what version of macOS are you on? I believe the message should instead let you know that the game can't be played on your macOS version. We've asked the EA app teams to take a look at this error message because it can create confusion.

@EA_Cath Hello. I just purchased Sims City on my Mac book. I Have macOS Ventura 13.5.2 on my MacBook. I downloaded it from their website. It was said it is for Mac. When I downloaded it and found it in EA library it says it is just for Windows. I can not get in touch with support.

As written in the system requirements of the game, "This game will only run on macOS versions that support 32-bit applications." which is not possible on macOS Ventura. You may ask for a refund if you have no other computer to play.

EA_CathHi there, it seems unfair that this game is unplayable as I have never played on any other system than Mac. When I purchased it in 2018, I was under the impression that I owned the digital copy to play whenever.&nbsp;
