You guys forgot probably the most common issue. Underperforming computer. This issue happens in a beginning city and slows down over time as more power is required to keep the burgeoning city processing.
If the OP goes to the options menu and graphics settings and set everything to low/min/off
Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 for std monitor. 1280 x 720 for wide screen.
Lighting: Minimum
Textures: Low
Shadows: Off
Geometry: Low
Animation Detail: Low
Anti-Aliasing: [Unchecked]
Framerate Cap: Off
V-Sync: [unchecked]
This should remove all lag
If you can post what your computer's name and model number are, we can help you much better instead of guessing.? i.e. Dell Inpiron 518
My computer is an acer computer, my thing is aswell as my game being really laggy I don't think I'm on the right server (Europe west1) I'm not sure of the make of my computer however I can say that my computer runs an fps game (teamfortress 2) very well. If the lag has something to do with my internet connection it's bt broadband.
If any of what I've just said makes any sense and can help you with my lag problems please help

P.S. there's black pixels that run across my screen when I play simcity and there's a grid that runs across my city snd I can't get rid of it! Thanks again 🙂
