OK add me to this ever growing list as well but listen people, This is going 10 pages strong of folks with the same issue on different OS's with different configs connecting to different region servers. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your installs or PC's that is causing this to occur. What I am trying to say is that this is not on your end at all, its on the EA / Origin side of the equation and no it's not connection issues on your end. There is nothing at all that you can do to resolve this from a technical stand point. Think about it... Everything worked great on the first city for X amount hours or time and then all of a sudden everyone starts crashing on new cities that are trying to be stored on the servers. No patches or updates came out that changed anything on your end. What we don't know is how your client is interacting with the servers at the moment of failure because that is what is really happening here. Your client is getting garbage (unknown data / instruction) from the EA side that it can't compute at all resulting in a crash that can't be explained. Like getting a Blue Screen of Death. All you can do is let the devs work on it and ride it out cause the only alternative out there that's even on the same ballpark is Cities XL and the folks over there don't seem to want to fix the memory leak that has been plaguing that piece of software for years. Wait for it, they will get it under control and get it back online again, stop modifying your PC's cause it's only going to make it worse when it does get resolved and your running in some compatibility mode from an ancient OS on a single core only.
