Simcity 5 keeps crashing.
I play the game and after a little bit it crashes, it says "sim city as stopped working" i know it has nothing to do with my graphix card or anything because it used to do it with simcity 4 not that ...

The latest series of patches and subsequent crashes are one more reason I hate "online only" games. The game never crashed on me once during my previous 87 hours of play. Now it runs for about three seconds once I see my city. If there were an offline option I could just roll back to a previous working version. But since it's a client, I cannot. I'm at the mercy of an innept quality control department instead.
After the initial launch problems with this game, I figured EA would pull out all the stops and make **bleep** sure this game became EA's flagship for quality. Obviously this is not so. With the number of people expressing concern over this issue, the flame war that appeared to have finally died is starting up all over again. I sure hope this has nothing to do with diverting resources or changing code to accomodate the Mac version.
Absolutely ridiculous. I guess I will add my name to the list of frustrated customers.
It was working OK before the patch (only crashing occasionally...grrrr....but now I can't even load my cities. I was able to make a new city on a different server, but then once I played it a while it crashed as well. Now I can't load any. I was able to start ANOTHER new server and it offered the tutorial. THis is stupid. This game has so much promise and this has it hosed for everyone. MAKE IT AVAILABLE OFFLINE....then I could paly my game that I paid hard earned money for.
THis is absolutely the last EA game I think I will buy. It sucks that I can paly any other game at MAX settings and have now problem, but I can't play Simcity.

The only error I get is a generic Windows, appcrash error.
Please fix this crap.
