I play the game and after a little bit it crashes, it says "sim city as stopped working" i know it has nothing to do with my graphix card or anything because it used to do it with simcity 4 not that long ago. I dont know how to fix it, It will not stop crashing. I dont know if its origin but im starting to dislike origin a lot because of these issues.

It seems to happen to me within 10-15 minutes of starting a new city. If i get past that mark it seems to run fine.

It is doing the same thing to me everytime and it does not save my city....so I have to start over. Fingers crossed for a patch. My compter is brand new

Yep, same problem here. I was able to play for two hours last night without any problems. This evening the game keeps crashing when I start a new city after about 15 minutes or so. Just crashes to desktop without saving the city. Really frustrating as I'm on my 5th start now.

I'm getting the same thing, too. My first city never crashed, but when I made a new region, I can't seem to get more than a few minutes into the game before it crashes and I lose the whole save file. Between that and the servers continuing to crap out tonight, and I'm beginning to think the Beta stress tests taught the devs NOTHING. This launch was handled poorly, just look at Metacritic. LOL.

Same here.First city works ok, but second city in the region crashes after just a few minutes, forcing me to restart it now three times. Fourth time is the charm, I guess. *tries again, out of stubborness*

Same problem here. I don't know if it's a problem with the region I'm playing, I'll test it soon in another, but every time I try to start a second city, the map comes with no name (the first city came with the map name, and the possibility to change came after I got some population living there). If I go to Region View, the city stays "blank" and still have the "Claim" button.
My specs:
AMD FX - 8120 3,1Ghz
8 GB RAM
RADEON HD 7850
My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5

Same here - brand new computer. every 15 minutes AND IT DOESN"T SAVE!! DRM-Extreme failure.

Actually very annoying! Very buggy game, origin seems to make the whole process much harder! Was not expecting such unpolished game for which I played $80. Currently unplayable. Going to third city and cant get it to work. Hope they fix it.

BTW, have you guys noticed that when you start a new region and claim a city, the name comes up as ~mayorname~ instead of your own. And then if you go to region view on that city once it has loaded up, your city shows as not having a mayor, plus the region name and city names are blank. I wonder if all that information is stored on their servers - perhaps we are disconnecting from these servers somehow.

If everyone with this problem is playing on the same server, I guess it could be a server issue...

One of the problems with the "always online" requirement...
